ProCrimp Dual-Seam Tank System
Tekpro’s in house ProCrimp Dual Seam Tank Technology has been designed for the safe storage of solid or liquid substances which have the potential for premature corrosion of normal ductile steel, via the use of an internal stainless steel layer preventing corrosion creating leaks and breakdown in the structural integrity with safety as a result.
The Edge folding – Dual seam principle The principle of the ProCrimp Dual-Seam System is as follows: 500mm steel plate is pressed to form a handshaking connection as seen in the diagram in step 1 from left to right: This form the edges to create the seam, for interconnecting the plates, the seam is sealed with a sika sealant product to ensure the seam is gas tight ensuring the surfaces are sealed removing the risk for corrosion with maximum impermeability surface is achieved for the optimum storage of solid / liquid and gaseous substances. The tanks and containers are manufactured from steel materials, which are matched to the chemical and physical properties of the respective contents which are to be stored and treated. |
Bunded Tank
Tekpro offer a bunded tank solution to the Australian Market, this solution is unique and uses the ProCrimp machine. Every storage tank in Australia is a single wall with a concrete outer wall around to capture potential leaks etc.
Tekpro’s ‘Tank within a Tank’ solution offers a 110%/120% volume capacity designed to suit. This solution has been thoroughly engineered to allow bunding following the Australian Standards.

Below is an image of the final tank base which includes the through bolts to lock the tank in situ, along with the reusable Form Work. Tekpro have spent almost over a year engineering a total solution allowing bunding following the Australian standards.
